Winstar

This weekend we went to the Winstar Casino in Oklahoma.  We planned a trip up there to go see Jarrod Neiman, The dkfjd Band and Dierks Bently.  We headed out Friday afternoon, made it just in time to check into the hotel, walk around a bit and head to dinner.  Paula and Don met us there for dinner and the show.  We had VIP passes so we got to go back and meet all the singers before the show.  They really did put on a good show, especially Dierks Bently.  When we were meeting Jarrod Neiman, Erich asked him if he had any middle names ideas for our little girl, he said how bout Lyla Lee? That is his middle name too.  We were surprised at how quickly he came up with that and how good it sounded together.  Although we did actually start to consider Lyla Leigh, I think we will probably still go with Lyla Capri.  I guess we won't know for certain till that little gal decides to show up!  Only about 3 weeks left.  Will be pretty different around here.  Anyway we had a great time at dinner and the concert and then gambled just a little before hitting the sheets.

Saturday we got up, had breakfast, then headed out to go visit Lacey up in Norman, OK.  I had never seen her place and it has been awhile since I had seen her and Riley so we had a good time just saying hi, eating lunch and watching a little of the OU game. 

We headed back to the hotel for our second show - a magic show!  It was more of a mentalist magic show than slide of hand but we really enjoyed it.  There were only about 70 people in the room, if that so it was very small and personal.  Erich, mom, and I got included in the show and it was very cool to see this guy display his talents.  Dad didn't get chosen, probably cause its way too hard to read his mind!!!

After dinner and the show we headed back to the casino for some more action.  Sad to report we didn't really win anything, but we had fun and hit a few good spins on the slot machines.  Then we drove back home just in time to go to sleep.  It was a really fun time.
