A Busy Life

So much yet so little happens as each week flies by. I work so much all the weeks seem to run together and I never seem to have time to do what I want to do, and if I do something I want to do the part of my day I sacrifice is sleep!

A few weeks ago I told you about a charity event I planed on doing called Cupid's Undie Run. Well now I have pictures, it was a success. No I didn't wear only my undies, but many others did! And yes that is the Capitol Building in the background.

The girl in the white is a reality star that attracted a lot of media attention. She apparently sponsors tons of charity events and is friends with my friend Jason, the dude in the picture.

Here are a few more pictures of us digging out of the snow!

This is a tennis court:

This icicle came off our roof:

Erich was supposed to go skiing with his brother one weekend, but the snow made him cancel his plans so he went to guys night. I went out to dinner with a friend then out in DC with some old friends. This is the first time I have been out this year, but it was tons of fun. I did lose a lot of sleep this weekend but it was worth it. Cheese, Matt and their new roommate.

College of Charleston, Erich's Alma Mater played George Mason, my Alma Mater so we went to see the game. I got to get dip n dots and Erich ate some! There was a huge ball that was all stuck together so that is what's in his mouth. College of Charleston ended up winning and it was a great game.

Valentine's Day. Since Erich and I have spent 7 Valentine's days together, we get kinda lazy and don't do anything. Side Fact: Erich and I officially started dating February 13, 2003 even though in reality it was sooner than that. Sooo..... the day after Valentine's day I challenged Erich to make a dinner for me - something that would be a challenge and that could fail. Not only did he accept the challenge - he blew it out of the water. We started off with a mozzarella and tomato salad with a balsamic glaze. Then we had a homemade french onion soup followed by Tostito crusted mahi mahi with a salsa topping. It was amazing. To finish it off we had made from scratch strawberry shortcake and homemade whip cream. It was one of the most amazing dinners I have ever had.

I'm not really sure what day it was when this happened but we started hearing a noise in our fireplace. We thought a bird had gotten in there or something but it ended up that a squirrel fell all the way into the bottom. We didn't know what to do with it so we made a pathway out of the house and opened the fireplace expecting it to run. Well it didn't it just sat there. So I suggest to Erich that he start poking it with a log - from my safe perch behind the couch. Well he does and instead of just running out it jumps on him, on the coffee table AND THEN bolts for the door. Needless to say Erich screamed like a girl and of course I missed it on the video. Here are the videos of before and after. I'm telling you if we would have had the squirrel jumping on tape we would be 100,000 richer thanks to America's Funnies Home Video. Why he decided to do this shirtless we shall never know. I got so scared I actually scratched myself so deep it bled.

  1. Love the Undie Run pictures! And the squirrel thing is hysterical! Wished you would have caught the screaming on tape though!
