Christmas Time

Well the holidays were good to us.  We are very fortunate to have flexible jobs so we were able to head to Dallas on December 18.  It is a 21 hour drive.  We left at 1:45 AM and got there at 10:30 PM.  A very long drive.

We got here just in time to see the Cowboys take down the redskins on Sunday afternoon.  Erich and I did have to work from home the next few days, but after work we shopped and ate at all my favorite restaurants.

On Christmas Eve we went over to Erin's house for a little celebrating, which of course included presents and lots of good food.

Christmas morning was spent at my parents house.  Among many other things Erich got a new watch and I got a beautiful ring.  This year was the only year (out of the last 27) that I was the first one awake and I had to go wake everyone else (Lacey) up.  My parents were actually already up but they went for an early morning walk and we had to wait for them to get home before we could open presents.

 Bella and Cinnie got some new toys which they just loved!

Christmas night we went over to Rocky and Janis's house.

 It was a lovely day.  I love getting to see all of my family and spend some quality time relaxing.  We also have quite the iphone family so we all sat around playing words with friends with each other. Couldn't have been better.
