I'm back home and readjusting quite well. Although I slept most of the day last Wednesday and Thursday, I had to get up at a decent time since then so I have gotten on a somewhat normal sleeping schedule, but I'm still feeling a little bit of the insomnia. On Friday I went to look at houses as Erich and I are trying to find a place to live. I looked at new developments out in Ashburn, which is about 30 minutes from where I would work without traffic. Not only was it too expensive and too far away, they were awkwardly arranged and small.

So after that I went to visit my friend Nancy and her new baby Noah. I got to visit for a few hours and although Noah definitely showed me a little of his lung capacity he settled down and fell asleep. After a little while I realized I forgot to take any pictures of him. I told Nancy I knew the cardinal rule - Never Wake A Sleeping Baby, but that I was going to pick him up and take pictures anyway. I was glad and shocked when she agreed, but luckily he never woke up even when I picked him up.

I had to leave not too long afterwards because Erich was coming home from his latest business trip, I believe it was Durham, NC. I went to the airport and picked him up. We were very happy to see each other as it had been two and a half weeks. We went and looked at a few houses together and then went to dinner. I go to restaurant.com to get gift certificates to restaurants 80% off. They only have certain places and tons of restrictions, but I got a $25 gift card for $5, so we went and enjoyed ourselves at a kinda fancy quaint italian restaurant in Great Falls. They had the best scallops wrapped in bacon, in a lobster sauce, mmmmmmmmm. After a nice dinner we headed home and passed out as we were both exhausted, oh Cinnie did too.

Saturday Erich woke up bright and early at 7:30. I went to bed at 3 or so, so I was not particularly ready to get up but we did anyways and took the dogs for a good long walk. We walked by the peewee football players which really excited Erich. He was amazed at how cute/good they were for little kids.
We ran some errands and had lunch at Chili's, my favorite! Then Erich had football practice, for his rec league and one of the guys had a bbq afterwards. It was a good, but tiring day.
